Melbourne Psychotherapy & Trauma Healing
Integrating Psychotherapy & Somatic Experiencing® trauma healing
healing through relationship
awareness and the wisdom of the body
Melbourne Psychotherapy and Trauma Healing, eM-PATH, is home to a group of experienced independent psychotherapists who specialise in working somatically with trauma. We are relational gestalt psychotherapists, art therapists, transpersonal therapists practicing Somatic Experiencing, EMDR and Sensorimotor trauma healing
Our work is grounded in the understanding that healing occurs through relationship, integrated with nervous system regulation as the foundation for lasting change.
At eM-PATH, we apply these principles not only in our work with clients, but within our practitioner community. We believe that a practice which supports therapists to work with depth, sustainability, and genuine presence creates the conditions for exceptional care.
resolving trauma and supporting growth
Our work is grounded in cultural humility, respect for lived experience, and collaboration, with care shaped to each client’s unique needs and identities. At eM-PATH you’re welcome exactly as you are.
attachment based, person centred and body focused
eM-PATH operates from the Abbotsford Convent - Melbourne, as well as the Sweetwater Wellness Collective in Frankston South; servicing inner Melbourne as well as Bayside, Casey and the Mornington Peninsula.
Some of our specialisations include development and attachment issues, chronic illness, long covid, CFS / ME, gender and diversity, relationship challenges, and burnout.
Nervous system regulation and healing relationships start with our practitioners; I believe the best care grows from practitioners who are supported to work with depth, integrity, and sustainability. By creating a practice that nourishes those who provide therapy, that quality of care naturally extends to the people they work with.
At eM-PATH, we apply these principles not only in our work with clients, but within our practitioner community. We believe that a practice which supports therapists to work with depth, sustainability, and genuine presence creates the conditions for exceptional care.
We help people move towards greater aliveness through relationship, embodied awareness, and the integration of difficult experiences.

Relational Gestalt Psychotherapy
Many of us carry ways of relating that once helped us adapt, but no longer serve us. Relational Gestalt Psychotherapy offers a space to become aware of these patterns, understand how they developed, and discover new ways of connecting to oneself and others.
is a collaborative, experiential approach to therapy that focuses on the relationship between therapist and client as a foundation for growth and healing. It explores how past experiences, current relationships, emotions, and patterns of relating influence your life today. By developing greater awareness in the present moment, Relational Gestalt Psychotherapy supports meaningful change, deeper self-understanding, and more authentic ways of connecting with yourself and others.
